Our guide Francinie was charming and attentive, providing us with very interesting information throughout the tour. We were lucky to witness two weddings at the Meiji Shrine, although we wished we had more time inside, as we barely had 15 minutes free to explore it. The tour was supposed to last 2.5 hours, but it actually lasted an hour and a half, which is really very little compared to other similar activities. In our opinion, it was too short. Mil gracias! Translate this opinion into English.

Nil was a fantastic guide! He shared so many interesting facts and historical tidbits, making the tour incredibly engaging. The place is worth visiting on its own, but having someone who can so easily provide context makes it even better. Thank you so much! Opinion translated. Show original.

Excelente guia Ot Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

I took the free walking tour of Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park, and it was a wonderful experience. The guide explained everything very clearly and made the tour enjoyable from beginning to end. I loved how he conveyed the meaning of the shrine, its rituals, and the connection with the surrounding nature. It was the perfect way to slow down, learn, and appreciate another side of Tokyo. That immense park in the middle of such a big city is breathtaking! Highly recommended! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

It was a magnificent experience, strolling through the beautiful forest surrounding Meiji Shrine, where two celebrations were taking place that same day: a wedding and a christening. This added a special charm to the visit, guided by Beatriz, whom we were incredibly lucky to meet, as she had led us on a free walking tour of Shibuya a week earlier. The wealth of historical and cultural information that Bea shared with us was fascinating. She is an excellent professional who enriches her guided tours. Opinion translated. Show original.

Terrible.

Terrible. We arrived on time at 10:30 at the starting point, and there was nobody there. We did the tour on our own as best we could, using information from the internet. At the sanctuary, we met a guide from Civitatis, who told us that the app must have been wrong because the only tour that day was at 10:00. There was never a tour at 10:30 that day (I have the confirmation email). This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me with this app. They ruined our experience of really getting to know the Sanctuary.
