Having been picked up from your hotel, you'll set off towards the tiny village of Agua Azul, where the agroecological farm, or "finca", is located.
Arriving at the finca, you'll be welcomed with a refreshing natural juice of locally grown fruits, which you'll enjoy while your guide introduces you to the farm's principle values. The farmers here work hard to preserve traditional Costa Rican agricultural techniques and customs while ensuring they use natural resources sustainably.
You'll then begin your guided tour of the different parts of the finca. Enjoy the unforgettable opportunity to milk cows: both young and old visitors alike will be able to take part and experience this essential part of farm life.
Discover all there is to know about the products grown and made here: learning about the farm's artisanal liquor distillation process and how sugarcane juice is extracted. And of course, you'll get to enjoy a tasting of the liquor, as well as of chocolate and milk.
